Iris domestica (Blackberry Lily)
Description:
Blackberry lilies produce sprays of orange speckled flowers on long stems, that rise above blade like, green leaves. Flowers only last a day, but new buds open daily, in succession. Pollinated flowers swell into green pods, which ripen to reveal clusters of attractive black seeds, hence the name ‘Blackberry Lily’.
